The process is controlled by an advanced and intelligent PLC control system. If the machine is overloaded or a foreign object enters the chopping unit, the control system activates a reversal. Thanks to the precise spacing between the cutting discs, the material is shredded with little force. The installed scraper combs prevent the material to be shredded from winding up or the shredded material from rising up.
