WTS800
Working principle of the WTS series shredders
The feed material is pulled in by slowly rotating shafts (which are silent and dust-free) on which the cutting discs are mounted. The process is controlled by an advanced and intelligent PLC control system. If the machine is overloaded or a foreign object enters the chopping unit, the control system activates a reversal. Thanks to the precise spacing between the cutting discs, the material is shredded with little force. The installed scraper combs prevent the material to be shredded from winding up or the shredded material from rising up. The size of the shredded material depends on the width of the blades used and the number of blades.

Shredding discs:
- Manufactured from special steel (hardened) or Hardox steel
- Discs are single discs and easy to change

- Precise cutting clearance reduces the likelihood of material blockage and “saves” the required drive force
Housing/bedding:
- Robust, bolted construction
- Separate, split bearing module; shafts can be removed from the machine quickly and easily when changing the chopping discs
- Premium quality double row spherical roller bearings are protected against the ingress of solids and liquids by baffles and sealing gaskets. This ensures a very long bearing life
Pavara:
- High quality gear with high reliability factor
- The extraction sleeve on the drive allows easy and simple dismantling when changing blades
- The actuator supports are made of elastic rubber
- The advantages of dual drive are that each shaft is driven by a separate gear, ensuring constant torque on both shafts. In the event of an overload in one drive, the second shaft continues working (increased productivity). The drive is low-maintenance.
