Product Highlights

  • Virtually 100% opening and emptying of bags
  • Suitable for a wide range of materials
  • High opening rate of “bags within bags”
  • Entangle protection against strings, wires and foils

How Does the Bag Opener Work?

  • The moving floor conveyor moves the material to the ripping drum. The separately driven halves of the drum generate the first relative movement. This effectively prevents the material from being shredded, torn, compressed and the mixing of moist and dry parts. There are also no unnecessary fines.

Unique Mode of Operation

  • There are pressure arms with tear triangles on the back of the tear drum. They press the plastic bags against the drum. The distance between the pressure arms and the drum becomes increasingly narrower towards the bottom. The preset contact pressure can be changed. In the case of compact impurities, the pressure arms deflect. The material undergoes a second relative movement as it passes through this dynamic channel. This is unique in this form. Together, the two relative movements ensure that the bags are reliably torn open and their contents emptied and loosened.

Feed Hopper

  • Bag Opener optionally available with or without feed hopper
  • Large infeed hopper for feeding by wheel loader or by gripper
  • Push floor conveyor included
