PAC-D Series Baler

The PAAL PAC D series of balers is designed to process a wide range of materials such as paper, cardboard, PET bottles, foam, aluminium cans, and much more. The PAC series includes a vertical sliding door that is designed for manual strapping of the bales with wire in a horizontal direction.

The PAC has a small footprint due to the vertical, hydraulically operated door, but still incorporates full bale ejection (very long ram stroke). The ejection of the finished bales is made easy with full bale ejection rather than machines with only partial ejection. With the choice of hopper designs and motor sizes and with a wide range of other options, the PAC series machines represent great value for the money but with the capacity to process sufficient volumes/tonnages.

Controls
To reduce the footprint of the machine, the control panel with the electronic control element – PLC Siemens S7 – is mounted directly on the body of the press.
The press is controlled by easy-to-understand switches and push buttons.
A high level of safety is ensured by a safety system based on the special key principle, which is in line with the most recent machinery directive.
To avoid damage by rodents, the cables on the press are embedded in open ducts.

Hydraulics
Exceptionally compact design with quiet-running hydraulic pumps .
The high-quality master cylinder is made using exclusively threaded joints, eliminating the likelihood of weakness and cracking at the welds.

Press hopper
The high-capacity, manually loadable hopper with laser hopper fill sensor for activation of the press plate is designed according to the latest European standards for horizontal presses.
On request, the PAC press can be equipped with a hinged hopper side for manual loading or a safety plexiglass door.

Press chamber
The smooth operation of the press chamber can be easily monitored through the service door on the back of the machine.
The sides of the press chamber are fitted with six interchangeable holders to stop the backward movement of expanding materials.
To reduce wear and to prolong the service life of the press, the press plate is supplied with interchangeable flats and guides.

Tying
Horizontal tying of 4 wires is done manually with a special wire.
The rod facilitates the tying process.
