The BRT HARTNER D Feed and Metering Hoppers are designed for the continuous and evenfeeding of a wide variety of materials.

- The Feed Hoppers / Metering Hoppers are preferably used to feed sorting and processing plants with waste paper, packaging waste, household waste, commercial waste and organic material. They are also used to process special materials such as glass, electronic waste, tire shreds, shredder heavy material or rejects.
- The D-series feed and dosing hoppers are loaded, for example, using a front loader.
The hopper can be made in different sizes to adjust the feeding intervals to the needs of the job. - An integrated moving floor conveyor is used to transport the material to the dosing unit. It releases the recycled waste and presents it for further sorting as a steady flow of material. Optical sensors monitor the layer of material on the discharge belt. The rotation speed of the dosing unit and the speed of the moving floor are adjusted accordingly.
