Kadant PAAL’s KONTI automatic channel baler delivers high throughput and bale weights with low energy consumption.
May be tied with steel or plastic wire.
The KONTI J baler range is offered with either a vertical tie, horizontal tie, or with a cross-tie option for more difficult material. PAAL’s KONTI balers can be supplied with pre-baling options such as a ruffler or perforator to maximize performance with particular material types.

The dimensions of the compaction chamber allow the separation of cutting and compaction operations. The main cylinder uses 100% of its force to compact the bale. As it is denser, it consumes less energy.

New technologies
The use of the most advanced components ensures high performance and minimal energy consumption. Hydraulic unit mounted directly on the end of the press to reduce movement and energy loss. Axial and submersible piston pumps with lower energy consumption for higher productivity than older pumps. The use of a real-time, non-contact press plate position measurement system optimises hopper filling, bale length and bale density. It also allows for maximum compaction, creating a better bale density with less energy consumption.
